While waiting for some more news from San Diego Comic-Con, check this out.
Superstar comics painter Alex Ross, known for his photo-realistic superhero artwork (Kingdom Come, Marvels) is launching a new ongoing, bi-monthly Justice League series in August called Justice.
Plotted and painted by Ross, the series is written by Jim Krueger and pencilled by Dougie Braithwaite. Ross talked about the out-of-continuity series, inspired by the Challenge of the Superfriends (JLA vs. the Legion of Doom) cartoon from the 70s, to Newsarama in a series of interviews, then shared some of his concept drawings for the villians.
